Yesterday should have been one of the happiest days of my life and today I should have proudly been wearing a blue Cardiff City home shirt to work smiling all day long. Sadly it is not my team who are going to play in the Premier League next season though, it’s Vincent Tan’s Malaysian Red Dragons.

Envy of the Swans as I return to London a year on and watch A Fans Club 09/03/2013

Last week I returned to London almost exactly a year to the day since my last visit when I watched Cardiff come so close to upsetting Liverpool in the League Cup final at Wembley. This year I was obviously not going to Wembley, as the Jacks were League Cup finalists, but went in stead a couple of days later to Kingsmeadow to watch A Fans Club Wimbledon.

It was sad to read in the newspapers on the plane over to London about Swansea’s League Cup triumph the day before. However much I loathe the Jacks I must admit though that I’m envious of them, but it is not because of their League Cup win or Premier League status.

Although I didn’t think much of Craig Bellamy when he opted to join Liverpool instead of Cardiff last summer , I can’t but be glad that he’s now signed a two
year contract with City. After all he’s a world class player. If he had only set as a condition for signing that blue should be the club colour it would have been perfect…
