Yesterday should have been one of the happiest days of my life and today I should have proudly been wearing a blue Cardiff City home shirt to work smiling all day long. Sadly it is not my team who are going to play in the Premier League next season though, it’s Vincent Tan’s Malaysian Red Dragons.

I was back in London two weeks ago for the second time in under two weeks, and for the second time in under two weeks I went to the The Cherry Red Records Fans’ Stadium Kingsmeadow to watch A Fans Club Wimbledon play a match for League survival at the bottom of League Two. I have decided to seek refuge from A Malaysian Rebranded Club Cardiff at A Fans Club Wimbledon and beside three brilliant points secured on the afternoon, the manner in which A Fans Club go about choosing a new kit is an example to follow.
Envy of the Swans as I return to London a year on and watch A Fans Club 09/03/2013

Last week I returned to London almost exactly a year to the day since my last visit when I watched Cardiff come so close to upsetting Liverpool in the League Cup final at Wembley. This year I was obviously not going to Wembley, as the Jacks were League Cup finalists, but went in stead a couple of days later to Kingsmeadow to watch A Fans Club Wimbledon.
It was sad to read in the newspapers on the plane over to London about Swansea’s League Cup triumph the day before. However much I loathe the Jacks I must admit though that I’m envious of them, but it is not because of their League Cup win or Premier League status.

“I’m sure we would all want Cardiff to stay blue” 17/08/2012

Although I didn’t think much of Craig Bellamy when he opted to join Liverpool instead of Cardiff last summer , I can’t but be glad that he’s now signed a two
year contract with City. After all he’s a world class player. If he had only set as a condition for signing that blue should be the club colour it would have been perfect…
Every reason to feel disenfranchised 05/08/2012

What a sad, sad close season this is. Vincent Tan’s statement on the 14th of June was a disappointment with him reiterating that red will be the new club colour no matter what, and I particularly took note of what he wrote towards the end: “There is no reason why any existing supporter needs to feel disenfranchised.” I’m sorry, but the fact that you don’t understand what a disgraceful decision it is to change the club colours and try to replace the Bluebird with a dragon just goes to show that you, Mr. Tan, should keep to running the other businesses that you’re obviously good at and leave football and Cardiff City Football Club alone.

Estrangement and farewell to Cardiff City Player 10/06/2012

Four days on I conclude what I’ve felt since the moment the awful news of the re-branding broke: I’m unable to come to terms with the new red and re-branded Cardiff City.
Estrangement I think is the word that best describe the situation for me at the moment.
Had I been a season ticket holder I would have asked for a refund, but since I’m not I’ve done what little I can do to protest by tonight terminating my subscription to Cardiff City Player.
What Money Can’t Buy 08/06/2012

Money as we all know can’t buy you love, and until recently nobody thought it could buy you the right to change the colours of a football club either.
