Estrangement and farewell to Cardiff City Player 10/06/2012

Four days on I conclude what I’ve felt since the moment the awful news of the re-branding broke: I’m unable to come to terms with the new red and re-branded Cardiff City.

Estrangement I think is the word that best describe the situation for me at the moment.

Had I been a season ticket holder I would have asked for a refund, but since I’m not I’ve done what little I can do to protest by tonight terminating my subscription to Cardiff City Player.

Here is what I wrote in my e-mail:

As a way to protest against the disgraceful red re-branding imposed on Cardiff City Football Club by the Malaysian investors and as a result of the estrangement the re-branding has led to, I hereby ask for my subsciption to Cardiff City Player to be terminated with immediate effect and ask to be refunded for the current subscription period and that no further automatic renewal occurs.
