The Scandinavian Liverpool supporters are obviously curious about Cardiff City ahead of Sunday’s final, as I’ve been interviewed by both liverpoolblogg.no and liverpoolsweden.se.

Liverpoolblogg.no is a Norwegian blog with 30.000-40.000 monthly readers and which is approaching 7.000 members on its Facebook page.

Liverpoolsweden.se is a site similar to liverpoolblogg.no for Swedish Liverpool fans.

As I write this sitting in “eggchasers territory”, Twickenham, were I’m staying, it’s only about 15 hours until kick off at Wembley.

I couldn’t care less about the rugby match that was played in the neighborhood this afternoon between England and Wales, but it’s always good when Wales beat England no matter what sport it’s in!

My pre-ordered matchday programme for the League Cup final was waiting for me when I arrived in London, which was a pleasant surprise as I didn’t expect it to be delivered before Monday, and it has been nice to be able to sift through it beforehand and not having to buy it at Wembley and carry it around with me like the last time I was at Wembley watching Cardiff in the 2010 Play Off Final versus Blackpool.

Today has been fairly free from any pre-match hype, as I’ve spent most of the day with family and in Richmond.

I was close to getting complementary VIP tickets for the Premier League match between Q.P.R. versus Fulham though, but in the end it didn’t happen and I didn’t get to see the Norwegians Brede Hangeland and John Arne Riise of Fulham win 1-0 against last years Championship champions, for whom Jay Bothroyd was on the bench.

Tomorrow I’ll probably set out for Wembley before noon, and most likely go to to the Globe pub by the Baker Street underground station on my way to the ground. I expect to meet a good spirited and vocal bunch of Cardiff City supporters there, and perhaps even some other Norwegians!

Come on you Bluebirds, make us proud at Wembley!

NRK, Adressa.no and BT.no all called to get some views from Scandinavianbluebirds.com before the weekend. Looking forward for pictures and words from your trip to the final.
