Coventry City 1 Cardiff City 1
Cardiff City 1 Nottingham Forest 0
As Cardiff keep the impressive unbeaten run going, the Norwegian season ended on Sunday with SK Brann in a surprisingly good fourth place and as losing cup finalists.

Reading 1 Cardiff City 2
A grumpy and moaning Reading manager Brian McDermott at the post match press conference was a pleasure seeing and it tells me we’re doing something right. After this strong away win I’m starting to believe that Cardiff City are up for a promotion push this season, and Peter Whittingham is a big part of the reason for that.

Wales 4 Norway 1, Cardiff City Stadium
From a Norwegian point of view the defeat against Wales last Saturday at the
Cardiff City Stadium was a huge dissapointment and the 1-4 scoreline was embarrassing. For Wales it was a brilliant match and a great result that gives
continued optimism ahead of the World Cup qulaifiers. As a Cardiff City
supporter, I must admit I wasn’t that saddened by the outcome.

When Norway play at the Cardiff City Stadium (CCS) later today, the number of Norwegians having played at the Cardiff City Stadium will nearly quadruple. The match will be a special one for John Arne Riise, who will make his 100th appearance for Norway, and Riise will be up against his golf club attacker from 2007, Craig Bellamy. (more…)
Jason Perry’s first and last Wales cap, and Neville Southall playing in a Cardiff City shirt 11/11/2011

Forget the Poppy debate ahead of Saturday’s Wales versus Norway match! In March 1994, the last time Wales played Norway at Cardiff City’s ground, goalkeeper Neville Southall played in a Cardiff City jersey with South Wales Echo on the chest and the Football League badge on the sleeves. And no one raised an eybrow. Jason Perry’s first and last Wales international was memorable for a lot of other reasons as well.

A weekend of mixed emotions for Jonathan Parr and me 09/11/2011

Cardiff City 2 Crystal Palace 0
SK Brann 1 Aalesunds FK 2, Norwegian Cup Final
Norwegian Jonathan Parr was an unused sub for Crystal Palace in our excellent win over the Eagles on Saturday. On Sunday Parr went to Ullevaal Stadium in Oslo for the Norwegian cup final, and although he of course didn’t play there either, he at least left the ground happy and with a cup winners medal, as his former club Aalesunds FK, for whom he played in a few cup rounds before his transfer to Palace, beat my Norwegian favourites, SK Brann, 2-1.

We all knew money rules football these days with ludicrous transfer fees and astronomic wages, but the EPPP (Elite Player Performance Plan) brings the greed and ruthlessness to a new level.
This blog post from Paul Evans is the first I’ve heard of the EPPP, and I must say it’s shocking!
I wonder what Cardiff City think of the EPPP and how they voted?
