Doncaster Rovers 1 Cardiff City 3
Sheffield United 0 Cardiff City 2
I’m writing this on a plane heading for London on what is a pilgrimage to Cardiff. It’s the first time my six year old son is going to watch the Bluebirds live, and for me it’s the first time I visit the Cardiff City
Stadium.
With maximum points from the last two away matches, only five games of the season remaining and with City having regained second place on Tuesday, the pilgrimage couldn’t have come at a better time!

What “United-Supporteren”, the publication of Manchester United Supporters Club Scandinavian Branch (MUSCSB), writes doesn’t usually interest me that much. The magazine does however dump into our mailbox eight times a season as my eldest son, the United supporter, is a member of MUSCSB.
One recent article in “United-Supporteren” did however catch my attention, as it was an exclusive interview with former Cardiff loanee Danny Drinkwater after his loan move to Watford.

Cardiff City 4 Derby County 1
This great win was made even better by Swansea’s surprise defeat at Preston. The seven letter Cities of Norwich City, Cardiff City and Swansea City are still the main contenders for second spot going into the last seven games.

It’s reassuring to read that Cardiff’s Malaysian investors are in for the long run, and it’s good to see Vincent Tan feature on Forbes’ list of the world’s billionaires.
What surprised me though was to learn from Forbes profile on Vincent Tan that he’s got no fewer than 11 children, which means the man has another eleven besides Cardiff’s to handle!

After the international break it’s good to get back to Championship action tomorrow, but it’s an even more weakened team that enters the Cardiff City Stadium to play Derby than the team that entered the Den against Millwall two weeks ago.
